In a move that deserves its own soon-to-come post, I’m back behind the bar shaking up some drinks! Its going really well and I’m loving the energy. Tonight I made several rounds of a variation on the Bramble, which was christened the Fumble. While the Framble (Fr for French as I replaced simple syrup with St. Germain) might be more technically correct, its just so much fun to say Fumble! And while in football fumble spells disaster, as a cocktail it earns some points. Try it out yourself.
FUMBLE
4 blackberries
3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
3/4 St. Germain
2 oz gin
Muddle three blackberries, then add lemon, St. Germain and gin. Shake with ice and strain over crushed or cracked ice. Garnish with blackberry.
