Who hasn’t had a taste for a cocktail only to look around the kitchen and realize there isn’t much to work with? I certainly have made some interesting concoctions by making do with what was available. My friend Lauren Crew (who besides making creative drinks is an amazing photographer-check out her site!) sent me a rundown of her recent experiment, which is coined “TBD” until something better comes along! She had some Bombay gin, grape juice, grape popsicles and a little Sprite….and it worked! She mixed Bombay and grape juice, topped off with Sprite and garnished the edge of the glass with crushed popsicle. Looks like one of those cocktails that costs you double digits right?
