Check out the winner of the SKKY’S the Limit Competition
During SF’s Chefs. Food. Wine. Festival, SKYY Spirits held a competition for the city’s top mixologists. After several rounds of competition it was Nick Varacalli of RN74 that came out on top after the on the fly round. Here’s the recipe he put together:
Ambassador Pepper by Nick Varacalli of RN74
1.5 oz. Wild Turkey Rare Breed
0.5 oz. Luxardo Maraschino Liquer
0.25 oz. Orange Curacao
0.25 oz. Velvet Falernum
0.75 oz. Lemon Juice
Dash of Orange Bitters
Muddled Red Pepper
Honorable Mention goes to runner-up Carlo Splendorini of Gitane Restaurant & Bar, who mixed together Cabo Wabo Reposado Tequila, Pear Liqueur,Green Chartreuse, Honey, Lemon and Jalapeño in his on the fly round.
